Meet Luke Currier

Luke Currier is a longtime community leader, business executive, and proud Anacortes resident committed to preserving our small-town spirit while guiding thoughtful progress. He currently serves as CEO of Land Title & Escrow, sits on the Anacortes Planning Commission, and serves on the Executive Board of the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce. He is also a 2025 graduate of Leadership Skagit, a regional leadership program through the Economic Development Alliance of Skagit County.

Luke's story began just across the water in Coupeville, where he grew up and graduated high school. After attending Skagit Valley College, he earned a B.A. in Political Science from Western Washington University and later completed an Executive MBA from Seattle University. Over the past two decades, Luke has led successful businesses in real estate, banking, and fitness, including co-owning Barre by the Sea Fitness in downtown Anacortes with his wife Bev.

Luke and Bev—high school sweethearts—shared their first prom at Boomers on the Anacortes waterfront and celebrated their wedding night at the Majestic Inn & Spa. In 2020, they finally made Anacortes their permanent home, drawn to its vibrant coastal charm, deep community values, and natural beauty. It's where they walk their dog Happy, hike local trails, and invest in the future they want to see.

Luke is running for City Council to give back to the community that has become his forever home. He brings decades of leadership experience, a collaborative spirit, and a practical, nonpartisan approach to public service. His focus is on public safety, affordable housing, smart growth, and preserving what makes Anacortes truly special.
